About Teachit Studio

Why we built it

Lesson prep eats the evenings and weekends that teaching already claims. The material is usually there - a CPD recording, a PDF, a lesson you taught last year - it just isn’t in a form your class can use yet.

Teachit Studio does that conversion. Point it at what you already have and it writes the notes; ask it for a quiz and flashcards from those notes when you want them. When you have nothing to start from, describe a topic and a year group and it builds the resource from scratch.

What you get, and what to check

Everything Teachit Studio produces is written for your class and built to be used - most of it is ready as it comes. AI can make mistakes, so read a resource before you teach it: the same look-over you would give anything that goes out with your name on it.

Where it can, the product checks itself. Worksheet and exit-ticket mark schemes go through a second pass that re-works every question and corrects the marking before you ever see it - because a wrong mark scheme is not a cosmetic problem, it is marked onto a child’s work. National Curriculum alignment is the one thing worth confirming yourself: wording varies between exam boards and between one school’s scheme of work and the next, and that call is yours.

Who it’s for

Primary and secondary teachers, and the output is a teacher’s artefact rather than a study aid: a worksheet with a mark scheme, a lesson plan with timings and a materials list, an exit ticket short enough to finish before the bell. Everything is written for a specific year group and subject - 16 year groups from Nursery to further and higher education, across 16 subjects.

Differentiation is a setting rather than an afterthought. A single worksheet can run from scaffolded to greater depth across its sections, or Differentiated Worksheets can produce three coordinated versions of the same skill for a mixed-ability class. Separately from level, EAL support, SEND support and read-aloud versions can be applied to any resource - access and difficulty are different problems and are set independently.
